Small Thoughts : This is absurd. I'm eyeing too many books!!
Now I'm eyeing another book (having just remembered the title)

This book happens to be historical. To the times of Hitler.
This is a real story, and it's in the form of a diary belonging to a Jewish girl.
I bet most people wouldn't like the book, being historical and all that.
But it caught my attention during secondary school
Yeah would you believe that? They(the school) actually collects this kind of books! O_o
I only managed to read some parts of the book due to time constraints.
I shall have to find this one.

Small Thoughts : I feel weird when I have nice posts but no pictures. Damn pissed with myself because I forgotten to bring my camera along.
Yesterday evening, we celebrated the end of our second semester final examination with Soya Bean Steamboat. I forgot the name of the place though.
Actually, the soya bean soup inside tastes exactly like the usual clear soup for steamboat, except it's a tad more salty. Overall, it wasn't so bad. The soup didn't change the taste of the food we put in.
We then decided on tom yam soup for the other steamboat bowl.
The tom yam soup happened to be really spicy. The lady who served us said it was just moderate spicyness! O_o
All this for the price of RM15.
Pretty cheap, huh? =D
Hmm...t'was very filling. Whats with 5 of us eating everything.
It's not a buffet steamboat mind you. We were going to go for one, but changed our mind coz we wanted to try the soya bean steamboat.
Whatsmore, I expected the soya bean soup to be sweet just like the drink! -_-"
Haha...*trying not to puke thinking about sweet fishballs for dinner...*
But I don't think I'll be going there anymore in the near future.

It was RedNoseReindeer who got me into shopping like crazy.
Now it's Monkaye's turn to get me hooked on reading again like crazy.
Remember the previous post where I bought that Gossip Girl book?
This time, I bought another book. One that I've been looking for a long time.
(The Gossip Girl book was just to calm my itchy hands to get a book quick.)

Actually, I found two other books I've been looking for for quite some time.
One is Retail Therapy by Roz Bailey. Found this one in MPH 1 Utama. One copy left *sigh*

I've already read the prequel book to the Sue Townsend book above. Not bad. Some parts are humourous. Suitable for people who likes to jaga tepi kain orang lain haha =P
The book is actually Adrian Mole's diary.
So...now I'm totally broke.
Earlier I messaged RedNoseReindeer on my mobile phone:
"At this rate, even if I work, I'll still be broke"
There's so many books I want to get. But so little time and dime to buy them.
Maybe if my parents own a bookstore like Xandria Ooi =P
By the way, my father got me a watch, all of a sudden.
I won't mention the brand. I dare not. *cough*
But it's really nice and fits me well.
=D
And since I've not worn a watch for a long time, I have to get used to wearing one all over again.
Sigh...shall log off now. Time to go study Business Statistics and face the exam tomorrow.
P.S. I might do a review on the Gossip Girl - You Know You Love Me book. If I do survive through that book that is.

I think I did pretty well for my Managing People and Organisation subject today.

Well, all except the last essay question. Totally forgotten the points :/
But I'm pretty confident in the multiple choice answers and the first essay answer.

After exam, got forced to spend the day with RedNoseREINdeer and Kayo today.
RNR of course happy ler, exams officially ended today.
Me and Kayo are going to sit for our Statistics paper on Thursday.
Lunch was at Paddington House of Pancakes@The Curve Mutiara Damansara.
(Paddington House of Pancakes. For the ardent pancake fans.)
I shouldn't have taken Kayo's comment lightly when she commented that
"I get a headache everytime. From choosing what to eat."
And I was beginning to get a headache from choosing what to eat too.
The selections were wide!
Meals also include pancakes, dessert also include pancakes.
And to couple it up, my indecisiveness isn't helping much.
Prolly made it even harder.
In the end, chose this:

The food is really delicious! And very filling. Though I was still feeling hungry :/
While waiting for RNR to finish her meal, went to withdraw money coz I was going broke. Soon.
And on the way back, I bought this white nail polish pen and brush at a small stall on the ground floor.
Now I can practice drawing on my nails :D Can practice whole holiday even XD
And all this while I kept pondering on and on about how them manicurists managed to paint with the usual nail polish brushes -_-"

Overall, the movie was pretty good. Should watch if you want to have a few laughs. Shall not spoil the movie here though. Further spoilers are obtainable through Wikipedia. Don't say I didn't warn you :/

All this while, I have been looking for this particular book titled "Retail Therapy". The author is Roz Bailey.
No it ain't no self-help book for people who are in dire states of shopping, nor it's for people who finds comfort in doing some retail shopping.
It's a story about this girl who is studying at a very high level of her education and at the same time working part-time at prestigious law firm. But to keep up with the latest trends and fashions in New York City, she gave up studying and working at the law firm to go and shop shop shop!
Her parents has decided to cut off her allowance and credit cards if she doesn't do something about the situation soon.
So the book is about her last shopping spree with her best friend, where they would shop till they drop for the last time.
I have gone to the MPH and Borders branches in The Curve but is unable to find the book. Borders never had it in their stock, and MPH has run out of stock of that book. But MPH did mention that its 1 Utama branch still has a copy left.
My last resort would be Kinokuniya then, since they do have the book there, priced at RM52.08.
Damn blardy expensive -_-
I wonder if the book is categorised under chicklit.
Later went to Popular at Ikano Power Centre to look for the book but learned that it had ran out of stock as well.
Hmm.
This could either mean two things.
One : The book is so laku, everyone wanna buy.
Two : The book is so not laku, the bookstores gave up on restocking them.
I hope its the former reason.
Ended up buying another book at Borders while I was there.
I've seen this book from a picture at Kingsley's blog.

I just started studying for my next subject today. Managing People and Organisation subject.
Was reading Lecture 6, then when RedNoseRaindeer(haha, btw, copyright liao) messaged me about the subject, I took out my revision paper and found out...
I WAS READING THE FREAKIN' WRONG LECTURE!

Oh well, luckily I found out sooner...Or else waste my precious time only. Not like I have much left =/
Listening to my lectures all over again. Now I wondered why la I never listened back until now. Really regretted, but it's waaaaayy too late.
Just realised some of my recorded lectures have been "corrupted". By human beings.A certain Raindeer's voice and a certain Monkey's voice.
Yes...now, even if I strained till my ears go deaf, I wouldn't be able to capture whatever the lecturer says.
Fuck la, how now? Can turn back time or not? Damn pissed.
Somehow I've lost my enthusiasm to get a degree. It's taking my late teen years away, as well as some of my early adulthood years.
Next time, I have to keep in mind to stay away from friends in lectures. Even from those people I don't know.
Just out of the blue, my mom ask me to go overseas to study.
O_o
So sudden? For what?
Can stay and study good enough lar!
My father's case different mah.
Haihz.
There's no way I wanna go overseas to study.
I don't think I can stand the racialism many Asian faced at the country Down Under.

Small Thoughts : Since yesterday I wasn't able to go online, due to some serious Streamyx server problems. O_o
As I quoted directly from Karen:

She gave me some pet shampoos when we met up at the LRT station to take the bus heading to Sunway area.
(Note: I used the word "pet shampoo" because both cats and dogs are able to use the shampoos)
All 3 shampoos (Herbal Essence, Tea Rose, Unknown O_o)

I've already tried the Tea Rose scented one on one of my dogs.
She now smells like Spring! =D

See? Dogs ARE getting more pampered nowadays now that their shampoos have nice smelling scents.
Even Cheesie said so.
In fact, the pet shampoos are even more nicer-smelling than my hair shampoo!! O_o

On a sad note, I sat for my marketing exam today.
Err...not to say it was hard, more like I did not have sufficient time to jot all my thoughts down.
So sad can die man -_-
I did two full essay questions, and the last two like did halfway. Cincai buat lor
Anyway, I just breezed through the 20 multiple choice questions at the front of the question booklet.
Then proceeded to the essay questions.
In other words, I placed less emphasis on the MCQs.
Until after the exam, when I had a small talk with Mr.G who is in the same Managing People and Organisations class as me, told me that the MCQs are actually 50% of the whole paper.
O_O
Oh My Dog! Is that true?!!?
What the hell~
That CANNOT be true!!
Because how la can the 20 MCQs account for 50% of the paper?!?! It's utterly impossible!!
And the 4 essays?! Another 50%???
Siao man!
So sad can die again -_-
Nevermind, have to concentrate on Accounting for Transactions and Business Decisions tomorrow.
Wish me lotsa luck people! =)
P.S. I had a weird dream few days back, that I passed all 4 of the subjects I'm currently taking now, but failed my Business Law and Ethics subject.
Then I thought...I never took that subject!! O_o
Not till next semester that is...

3 days ago(Wednesday), I was waiting for the bus heading to Subang Jaya at the Kelana Jaya LRT station.
Waited and waited and suddenly
felt itchy handed
and resulted to this:
If you look properly and/or brighten your monitor, you'll notice the seats are different from the previous busses.
Alot of things have changed. The stering wheel looks like a Mercedes' but bigger in diameter.
And there's a tv linked to a camera to check and see if any passengers try to cheat by hopping into the bus through the back exit without paying the fare.
They now also have radio and an electronic clock.
An emergency door and a trash can. Litter not =)
The mid front of the bus seats makes you feel like you're in an LRT.
The chairs face each other =/
This picture is supposed to show the plier-like that's supposed to help you break the glass if an emergency happens.
It seems they have the safety parts thought out right.
Just hope it works during an emergency situation.
This is the front seating of the bus. I have no idea why they place the seats so high o_o

Yesh this is obviously a very late entry. Supposedly on October 20th.
I prolly shouldn't be writing about it now but...

Quick note : I fell asleep, Monkaye failed to wake me up coz my mobile phone was downstairs ans I was upstairs snoozing.
Result? Arrived late and poor Monkaye was waiting. Aye.
And apparently we found a RM10 note on the ground near the place where I parked O_o
Freaky ne!
The others were already waiting and had ordered their food long before we reached.
We had the celebration at La Gourmet House @ The Curve
Judging by the appearance, its a pleasant place, with nice food to appease your appetite.
Their cabonara dish appeased mine just barely.
I find it tasteless, but I don't blame the restaurant.
I've been indulging in the carbonara pasta dish I have had almost every weekend at the "Yu Yi Restaurant" coffeeshop in D'sara Jaya. And that one is absolutely delectable!!
I mean the one at Yu Yi.
I took no other pictures that night of the celebration.
Oh wait, I have a picture of Yi-Lin...but I doubt she would want it posted here.
